Special Programming Features

Bear Facts Feature

Every morning ZFun airs a special announcement produced by Moscow High School students to be heard by their classmates. This fun feature lets kids get involved in radio and keeps the content relevant to what’s going on at their school. The 30-second feature airs every day at 7:50 a.m. during the school year.

Community Involvement:

Officer Newbill Safety Fair, City of Moscow

This annual event works to educate both parents and children about safety and health in Moscow, Idaho, and across the Palouse. It was introduced to the community in 2005, and renamed the Officer Newbill Kids Safety Fair when one of our community police officers lost his life in the line of duty, along with a local church sexton.

Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive

Coming to class fully prepared can make the difference between success and failure. To help give all K-12 students the same chance to succeed, Pullman Kiwanis Club teams with local businesses for an end-of-summer school supply drive. ZFun hosts interviews each year to promote it along with commercials in addition to a 2-hour LIVE broadcast during the event.

Palouse Cares Food Drive

Palouse Cares is the largest single-day food drive on the Palouse. Our group of stations support the event with cause-marketing, as well as other media pieces that we design and place. Local and regional businesses that want to participate are able to do so through this cause-marketing campaign.
